Type MP-GC stands for:

It is a medium-voltage, flexible power cable used to supply stationary or semi-portable mining equipment. MP-GC cables are ruggedly constructed to handle extreme mechanical, thermal, and environmental conditions commonly encountered in underground and surface mines.
