Type SHD is a shielded, heavy-duty, portable power cable designed for demanding mining and industrial applications. It features insulated conductors with individual shielding, symmetrical ground conductors, and durable jackets for protection. It is commonly used without a ground-check conductor, unlike SHD-GC.
Used to power mobile and stationary mining equipment, especially in environments requiring shielding to reduce electrical interference and mechanical durability.
