Hard Drawn Bare Copper (HDBC) conductors are manufactured from 99.9% pure copper and are designed for electrical grounding and power transmission applications. These conductors are offered in both solid and stranded (Class A) constructions and are ideal for overhead transmission, substation grounding, and earthing in various installations.
HDBC conductors are manufactured to meet ASTM B1 and B8 specifications and are fully compliant with the National Electrical Code (NEC). With excellent tensile strength, corrosion resistance, and electrical conductivity, they are the ideal choice for power utilities, construction contractors, and renewable energy installations.
StructureSolid Type:
Single strand of hard drawn bare copper wire, sized from AWG 1 to AWG 18: 1awg, 2awg, 4awg, 6awg, 8awg, 10awg, 12awg, 14awg, 16awg, 18awg
Stranded Type (Class A):
Multiple strands (typically 7, 19, or 61 Wires) of hard drawn copper wire helically laid together. This offers greater flexibility and mechanical strength than solid wire. Available size: 4AWG, 2AWG, 1/0AWG, 2/0AWG, 4/0AWG, 250MCM, 300MCM, 350MCM, 400MCM, 500MCM, 600MCM, 700MCM, 750MCM, 800MCM, 900MCM, 1000MCM
