The N2XSY cable is a single-core, medium-voltage power cable consisting of:

  • Copper conductor (Class 2 stranded)

  • XLPE insulation (cross-linked polyethylene)

  • Copper tape screen (metallic screen)

  • PVC outer sheath (black)

This cable is unarmoured, making it suitable for indoor/outdoor fixed installations where mechanical protection is not a primary requirement.


 

APPLICATION

 

Applications

Primary Uses:

  • Power distribution in MV networks for substations, utilities, and industrial facilities

  • Ideal for installation in:

    • Underground ducts

    • Cable trays or racks

    • Power stations

    • Indoor installations

Suitability:

  • Suitable for AC and DC systems

  • Not suitable for direct burial without conduit or additional mechanical protection (due to lack of armor)
