N2XSB(AL)Y Single-Core Copper Medium Voltage Cable with Aluminium Tape Armour - 12/20 kV - IEC 60502-2

The N2XSB(AL)Y is a robust and reliable single-core medium voltage cable designed for fixed power distribution installations where moderate mechanical protection is required. It consists of a compacted stranded copper conductor, XLPE insulation, a copper tape screen, aluminium tape armour (ATA), and a tough PVC outer sheath. The cable is manufactured in accordance with IEC 60502-2 standards and is suitable for indoor, outdoor, and direct-buried installations.
 

Its aluminium tape armour provides lightweight yet effective mechanical protection against external damage, making it well-suited for use in substations, switchgear, and utility infrastructures where there is a risk of low mechanical stress.
