These are low-voltage (0.6/1 kV), multi-core power cables consisting of:
Stranded copper conductors (high conductivity),
XLPE insulation (Cross-Linked Polyethylene),
Galvanized steel tape armour (helically applied), and
A protective outer sheath (PVC or LSZH).
The galvanized steel tape armour (GSTA) provides moderate mechanical protection and enhances electromagnetic shielding, making these cables ideal for applications where some mechanical protection and noise immunity are needed, but where flexibility and compact size are also priorities.
