Application	Type XHHW-2 or RW90 wires are primarily used for power distribution and are sometimes referred to as feeders. They are suitable for use in wet or dry locations with conductor temperatures not exceeding 90°C. These wires may be installed in conduit and other recognized raceways as specified in the National Electrical Code. The voltage rating for XHHW-2 or RW90 conductors is 600V.
Standards	UL 44 / CSA C22.2 No. 38 ANSI / NEMA WC-70 / ICEA S-95-658 ASTM B800, B801 Federal Specification A-A-59544A Sunlight resistant on sizes 6 AWG and larger.
Construction	CONDUCTORS: Compressed soft drawn bare copper with class B stranding per ASTM Standards stranded per ASTM. INSULATION: Abrasion, heat, and moisture-resistant cross-linked polyethylene insulation (XLPE), featuring a low coefficient of friction, making it a "slippery" or "slick" material. It is available in ten solid colors.
