Copper THHN/THWN-2 is a high-performance, thermoplastic-insulated building wire designed for use in commercial and industrial electrical systems. Featuring solid or stranded soft-drawn copper conductors, this wire is insulated with heat- and moisture-resistant PVC and protected by a clear nylon (polyamide) jacket for added abrasion resistance.
Manufactured in accordance with UL 83, UL VW-1, and ASTM B1/B3/B8 standards, this wire is ideal for installation in conduit and cable trays for service, feeder, and branch circuits, and is widely used in power distribution panels and control systems.
