URD cables are medium-duty, low-voltage power cables used for secondary distribution in residential, commercial, and light industrial underground power networks. They are designed for direct burial or duct installation in 600 V class systems, typically connecting transformers to service entrances or pedestal-mounted gear.

Constructed with concentric stranded or compressed 1350-H19 aluminum conductors, each conductor is insulated with cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) for excellent heat resistance, dielectric strength, and moisture protection. Configurations include single-, duplex-, triplex-, and quadruplex-conductor cables, twisted together with left-hand lay for easy installation and mechanical stability.
