Type SHD-GC is a heavy-duty, shielded portable power cable with ground and ground-check conductors, specifically engineered for mining and industrial applications. The cable includes three individually shielded conductors, symmetrical ground conductors, and a ground-check (GC) wire for ground continuity monitoring.
The GC conductor allows automatic equipment shut-off in case of ground faults - a key safety requirement in many mining operations.
